Description:
This is to be a browser based, business applications development and deployment system. The undergirding code and metadata is built with PHP and MySQL respectively. The intended target client base is small businesses and NGO's that cannot otherwise afford expensive programming staff but know their businesses and their data processing needs. Another potential user base will be DBA's who need quick and short term solutions for specific data processing tasks. It will use Wizard type forms to design the application pages but also include powerful formula and filter generators to handle real world day-to-day data processing requirements as well as web tasks like portals and CMS. Currently the core metadata exists as a MySQL database with nearly 60 tables. The core development environment exists as a basic browser based development toolkit built using a bootstrap process; the application being developed was the toolkit itself. The business model calls for low monthly fees making it affordable for every business and NGO.
